The Rotary Youth Exchange provides an opportunity of a lifetime for High School students to spend up to 12 months living and studying in a foreign country, learning a lot about themselves and the culture of their adopted host families.
Our Club’s involvement in this richly rewarding program began in 1974 and since that time we have sponsored 49 students to 17 different countries and hosted 44 students from 20 different countries for this life changing experience.
For the past 30 years we have hosted a “Welcome Home Dinner” for the returning students from our Rotary District (photo below is the 2020 returned Youth Exchange dinner).
Due to the current worldwide pandemic, the Youth Exchange program is on hold, but will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
